Draft notice: This document is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel in Bangladesh. For the complete description of app data flows, see the Privacy Policy.

1. The app does not require an account

You do not need to provide a name, email address, or payment information to use CoreX. CoreX does not provide a sign-up or login system. This does not mean no information can ever leave your device: the app's published privacy description includes anonymous analytics, update checks, user-started diagnostics, and support information you choose to send.

2. Data categories and purposes

Your email address, message, and any attached logsRespond to support requests or investigate a problem.Received by the publisher if you email or file a GitHub issue. You choose what to include.

An IP address, device/network details, or diagnostic content may be considered personal data under some laws, even where CoreX does not request your identity. Review logs and remove private details before sharing them.

3. Legal basis and choice

CoreX processes local technical information to provide the features you select. Update checks and analytics support maintenance and improvement as described by the project. Network diagnostics run only when you manually start them. Support messages are handled to respond to your request. This page does not claim a specific legal basis under every country's law; local counsel should confirm the appropriate basis and any consent or opt-out requirement before publication.

4. Sharing

The project does not sell or rent personal data to advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared with a service only where needed for the feature described above, such as PostHog analytics, GitHub update hosting, or a package manager you choose to use. Each provider may process connection data under its own terms.

5. Storage and retention

Local settings and logs remain on your PC and may remain after CoreX is uninstalled. Analytics retention follows provider settings. Support correspondence may remain with your email provider or GitHub according to their retention practices. Contact the publisher for help with a request concerning data sent directly to the project; for data held by a third party, you may need to contact that provider.
